We are the 2nd generation of the Mother Tribe, Farashi Tribal Fusion Belly dance Company, co-founded in 2001 by Marisalena Manchego and Gay Hedges in Roswell, New Mexico. Farashi went on to dance, teach and perform in New Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, Mexico and Ireland. Co-founded in 2018, Sierra Sáhir is an Improvisational Belly dance Fusion Tribe who's dance style garners influence primarily from Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Spain, India, parts of Africa and the USA.
