Animals/Pets:
Service animals are the only authorized pet allowed and must always be on a leash and under control.
Weapons Policy:
All period arms must be secured or “peace tied” to the guest at all times in a holster protecting the blade and may not be removed from the holster. Any exposed blade or point must be of stage combat grade and must not pose a risk of injury to the guest or others. Arrows being carried as costume adornment must be “peace tied” together and have the arrow tips removed. Plastic, foam, and wood toy weapons are allowed without sheaths or peace bonded but may not be wielded in a way that they might accidentally strike another guest or employee. Black powder guns must not be in an operable state.
Alcohol Consumption:
Alcoholic beverages purchased in the festival must be consumed on premises. No outside alcohol is permitted inside the park. All patrons are required to produce valid identification to purchase alcohol, and no one under the age of 21 will be served. Please drink responsibly.
Weather:
The Cavern City Renaissance Festival reserves the right to temporarily shut down during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds, or otherwise dangerous weather conditions. There are no refunds for inclement weather.
Outside Food and Drink:
Acceptable items: Any food required for medical purposes and medically indicated nutritional supplements. Any food required for special dietary needs, Baby food/baby formula Prohibited items: Picnic lunches, Food that requires heating or refrigeration, Alcohol and glass containers (excluding baby food jars) Coolers, Clothing with offensive language or content, Clothing that represents someone as emergency personnel, please be advised that all bags and personal items are subject to inspection.
Company Rights:
We may photograph, film, videotape, record or otherwise reproduce the image and/or voice of any person who enters any Park and use the same for any purpose without payment to any person. We reserve the right to deny admission, or to require a person already admitted leaving a Park, without refund, liability, or compensation if we consider that the circumstances so require. Smoking:
For the comfort of all guests, smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes, or other products that produce a vapor or smoke are allowed only in designated smoking areas.
