Re-entry
- Re-entry is available on the day of your ticket with your wristband. Please keep it on and check our Facebook page for any updates or changes due to weather or other circumstances.
Animals / Pets
- Only service animals are allowed on the festival grounds.
- Service animals must always be on a leash and under control.
Weapons Policy
- All period arms must be secured or “peace tied” to the guest in a holster that protects the blade, and cannot be removed from the holster.
- Any exposed blade or point must be stage combat grade and must not pose a risk of injury.
- Arrows carried as costume adornment must be peace tied and have tips removed.
- Plastic, foam, and wooden toy weapons are allowed without sheaths or peace ties but may not be wielded in a way that could accidentally strike another guest or employee.
- Black powder guns must not be operable.
Alcohol Consumption
- Alcohol purchased at the festival must be consumed on premises.
- No outside alcohol is permitted.
- Patrons must present valid ID to purchase alcohol.
- No one under 21 will be served.
- Festival staff and security reserve the right to refuse service or remove individuals who violate alcohol policies or engage in unsafe behavior.
- Please drink responsibly.
Weather Policy
- The festival reserves the right to temporarily shut down during electrical storms, heavy rain, high winds, or other dangerous weather conditions.
- No refunds will be issued due to inclement weather.
Outside Food & Drink
- Allowed: Water and hydration drinks (non-alcoholic), Food for medical purposes, medically indicated nutritional supplements, special dietary foods, baby food/formula.
- Prohibited: Picnic lunches, food requiring heating/refrigeration, alcohol or glass containers (excluding baby food jars), coolers, clothing with offensive language or emergency personnel impersonation.
- All bags and personal items are subject to inspection.
Smoking Policy
- Smoking of tobacco, e-cigarettes, or any other products producing vapor or smoke is not allowed anywhere on festival grounds.
First Aid / Medical Emergencies
- First aid care is available on-site, staffed by firefighters.
- In case of emergency, please notify a festival staff member at the entrance or any roaming security personnel immediately.
Lost & Found / Personal Belongings
- The festival is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Lost & found items may be turned in to Guest Services (Entrance). If you are contacting us after the festival, please email info@caverncityrenfest.com.
Performance & Safety
- Guests should remain a safe distance from performance areas, pyrotechnics, or fire displays.
- Do not cross barricades or enter restricted areas.
- Children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult to ensure their safety around performances, equipment, and crowds.
Parking & Traffic
- Guests must follow all posted parking and traffic regulations.
- The festival is not responsible for parking violations or vehicle damage.
Festival Rights
- The festival may photograph, film, videotape, or record any person on the grounds and use such media for any purpose without payment.
- The festival reserves the right to deny admission or remove any person without refund, liability, or compensation if circumstances require.
